Our VISION
At Metro East, we are becoming a hopeful gathering of saints devoted to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ and equipped to offer our whole lives to serve Him.
God-centered commitments
Our five God-centered commitments shape the life and ministry of our church and anchor everything we do. They serve as the values that guide our decisions, align our ministries, and keep us focused on what matters most. As we pursue these commitments together, they help us remain faithful to God’s heart and unified in our mission.

Abiding Discipleship
At Metro East, we believe discipleship begins with Jesus’ invitation: ‘Whoever abides in me…bears much fruit’ (John 15:5). That’s why we shape our ministries around Abiding Discipleship using these four, whole-life discipleship categories.

In Christ
John 17:3; Colossians 2:6-7
Salvation is ours only through faith in Jesus Christ, the resurrected Son of God. In Him, we find assurance of forgiveness, peace for our weary souls, and hope of eternal life.

In the Word
John 17:17; Colossians 3:16
The Bible is God's wholly true and powerful Word. As his truth takes root in us, God changes our hearts and minds to become more like Jesus.

In the Family
Acts 20:28; Ephesians 4:1-6
As people who belong to Jesus, God has made us into a new family. God has called us to grow to spiritual maturity together - worshiping, learning, serving, and loving one another one family united in Christ.

In the Harvest
Matthew 9:37; John 15:16
As we continually grow in holy living, Jesus sends us as his representatives into the world with a message of grace, hope, and peace for all who will believe and turn to him.
