Missions at Metro East is about sharing hope and serving others locally and globally. We support local organizations, regional partners, and overseas missions, working alongside Church Forward and the Southern Baptist Convention to extend our reach around the world. Through strong partnerships with missionaries and mission trips available for all ages, we invite everyone to take part in what God is doing across our community and the nations.

Ministry through Offerings
Annie Armstrong - NAMB - collected at Easter and is the primary way Southern Baptists fund missions in North America.
Church Forward - KNSCB - Collected around Thanksgiving time - 50% of gifts goes to our local association missions (Heart of Kansas) and 50% of gifts goes to mission work through the KNSCB.
Lottie Moon - IMB - Collected at Christmas - primary way Southern Baptists fund missions internationally. 100% of gifts are given to the field.

Disaster Relief
Trained responders gather to meet urgent needs in the aftermath of disasters locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally, by giving their time and talents during crisis situations, ministering Jesus' name to disaster victims.

Operation Christmas Child
Ministry of Samaritan's purse; shoeboxes are collected Sunday before Thanksgiving. We are a regional collection site.
Refugee Ministry
Needs include: teaching English to families (no experience needed) and good paying jobs for men.

Youth Mentoring - Kinloch Boys Ranch and the Wren House for girls

Join us on the island of Mindoro Philippines to minister to the local tribal youth through sports clinics. Use your volleyball and basketball skills to reach the Mangyan tribal people with the Gospel!
